COURTHOPEI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, in their endeavour to secure a satisfactory ammunition for the service rifle, the War Office have taken advantage of the experience of manufacturing firms by carrying out trials with those types of ammunition of private manufacture which are universally acknowledged by experts to be the best at present obtainable.
