§ MR. H. C. LEAI beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works whether, in view of the large number of painters and house decorators now amongst the unemployed in London, he could see his way to afford some of them immediate employment by giving Buckingham Palace a couple of coats of paint.
§ MR. L. HARCOURTNo money has been voted by Parliament for the painting of Buckingham Palace, and I am unable to put such work in hand.
