HC Deb 22 October 1908 vol 194 c1374
CAPTAIN CRAIG

I beg to ask the Chief-Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that a cattle-drive took place about 23rd August last off the lands of Johnstown, on the Kearney estate, Louth, when upwards of 200 head of cattle, sheep, and horses were cleared off the farm and all the gates broken down and removed; what arrests have been made; and what sentences passed on the perpetrators of the outrage.

MR. BIRRELL

The police have no information showing that the cattle-drive referred to in the Question took place.
