To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it would be possible to give a Return showing separately for each of the three Kingdoms the amount of spirits and beer consumed per head of the population as shown for the United Kingdom on page 130 of the current number of the Statistical Abstract; and, if so, whether such Return could be carried back to any period before the Licensing Act of 1872.

(Answered by Mr. Lloyd-George.) The Return could be given on the lines followed in the Financial Relations Return, but not for any years before 1888.
