RUTHERFORD (Middlesex, Brentford)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received complaints in regard to the character of the diet given to British-Indians imprisoned in the Transvaal for refusing to comply with the registration law; and, if so, will he say what action he proposes to take in the matter.
