HC Deb 15 October 1908 vol 194 c461
SIR H. COTTON

I beg to ask the Under - Secretary of State for India whether any steps have been taken, by the appointment of a Departmental Committee or otherwise, to frame the promised measures of reform in Indian administration; and whether, if a Committee has been appointed, he can state the names of its members.

The matter is under the consideration of the Secretary of State in Council, but he is not in a position to make a statement on the subject.
