I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can state the number of persons at present under police protection, special and by patrol, in Ireland.

On 30th September, 104 persons were receiving constant police protection in Ireland, and 252 were receiving protection by police patrols.
