HC Deb 14 October 1908 vol 194 c315
MR. LONSDALE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that at Knocknagown, County Kerry, a rural postman was, on 5th October, robbed by an armed man of registered letters supposed to contain civil bill processes; and whether any arrest has been made in connection with this occurrence.

MR. BIRRELL

I am informed that the fact is as stated in the Question. The postman, who reported the matter to the police, stated that he was unable to identify his assailant, and therefore no arrest has been possible.
