HC Deb 14 October 1908 vol 194 c313
MR. LONSDALE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Government has yet formulated any plan for avoiding or minimising loss on flotation of Irish Land Stock and for expediting the operation of the Land Act of 1903; and, if so, when he proposes to lay the same before the House.

MR. BIRRELL

The matter is receiving the careful consideration of the Government, but though I am not yet in a position to make any statement on the subject, I hope to be able to do so shortly.
