HC Deb 13 October 1908 vol 194 cc167-8
SIR W. J. COLLINS (St. Pancras, W.)

To ask the First Commissioner of Works whether a portion of the Regent's Park, between the grounds of St. Katherine's Lodge and the shrubbery lying to the east of the fountain in the Broad Walk, to which the public formerly had access, has been railed off; and, if so, to what purpose it is intended to put this portion of the park.

(Answered by Mr. Harcourt.) This portion of the park was closed some time ago in order to restore the grass, which had got into a bad condition. I am considering whether it may with advantage be re-opened next spring.
