HC Deb 30 November 1908 vol 197 c1093
MR. T. F. RICHARDS

I beg to ask the hon. Member for South Somersetshire, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether he could recommend an early meeting of the Board of Agriculture to take into consideration the urgent necessity for pressing forward in all counties where applications have been made the best means to meet the requirements of the Small Holdings and Allotments Act.

Sir EDWARD STRACHEY

The President does not propose to adopt the suggestion of my hon. friend, as he does not think that any useful purpose would be thereby served.
