HC Deb 30 November 1908 vol 197 c1062
MR. CONOR O'KELLY (Mayo, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state whether the negotiations between the Estates Commissioners and Colonel M. C. J. Blake for the purchase of the latter's property at Carnacon, Ballyglass, County Mayo, have been successful; and, if not, will he state the cause.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) In view of pending legislation the Estates Commissioners have decided not to make any offer for the estate at present.
