§ MR. JOHN O'DONNELLTo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Congested Districts Board have yet done anything in the way of acquiring the estate of Sir Compton Domville, situate in the parish of Aughamore, in the Claremorris Union; and, if not, whether they will Te-open negotiations with a view to a speedy sale of the grass lands thereon, and the removal of congestion in the immediate neighbourhood.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The question of purchasing this estate was brought 1066 before the Congested Districts Board some time ago; but, owing to the want of funds for making improvements, they were obliged to postpone the matter. The solicitors for the estate were so informed in October, 1907. The position remains unaltered.
