HC Deb 26 November 1908 vol 197 c684
CAPTAIN CRAIG (Down, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that on Saturday night, the 7th November last, an extensive cattle-drive took place at Towerhill and at a place called Waterford, in County Mayo; whether he can state if all the stock has been recovered by the police stationed at Hollymount and Ballyglass; how many arrests have been made; and what sentences have been passed on the perpetrators of the outrages.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. BIRRELL, Bristol, N.)

This appears to be the case referred to in the Question asked by the hon. and gallant Member on the 17th inst. I have nothing to add to my reply to that Question.
