I beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can give the names of the eight skilled labourers who have been transferred to the smiths' department at Devonport or reinstated; and whether there are any more vacancies for smiths in that department.

The names of the eight smiths referred to are: Wilcocks, Tucker, Ferguson, Vickery, Young, Sutton, Hawken and Widdicombe. There are no more vacancies for smiths at present.
