SYDNEY BUXTONI am in correspondence with the local authorities and others on the subject of an extension of the trunk telephone system to Sligo, Mullingar and other places on the Midland and Great Western Railway system on guarantee terms. If an extension to Mullingar is found practicable, the question of a further extension to Longford can then be considered.
