§ MR. KETTLETo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have received an application for reinstatement from Mr. Patrick Mulgrew, formerly tenant of a farm of twenty-three acres on the estate of the Earl of Ranfurly, in the County of Tyrone, from which he was evicted in 1882; and what progress has been made towards restoring him to his holding.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have received an application from Patrick Mulgrew for reinstatement in his former holding, which has been purchased by the present occupier under the Land Purchase Acts. The application will be considered in the allotment of such untenanted land as the Commissioners may acquire.
