HC Deb 23 November 1908 vol 196 c1752
MR. J. P. FARRELL (Longford, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in the inspection of the Killasonna estate of the late R. Davoren, of Dublin, for the sale of which to the tenants an agreement was entered into four years ago.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that this estate is not being sold direct to the tenants, but has been offered for sale to the Commissioners. It has been inspected, and the inspector's Report is at present under consideration with a view to an offer being made for purchase.
