HC Deb 23 November 1908 vol 196 cc1795-6
MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the farm near Cahirciveen from which William Bourke was evicted more than twenty years ago is in the hands of the landlords, the provost and fellows of Trinity College, Dublin, and that this farm has for a number of years past been let as a grazing farm on the eleven-months system; and whether steps will now be taken to have the eldest son of the late William Bourke put into possession of this farm.

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. CHERRY,) Liverpool, Exchange

The Estates Commissioners inform me that they cannot see their way to take any action in reference to the application of John J. Bourke for reinstatement in the farm at one time held by his father. The Commissioners understand that the farm in question is now held by another tenant.
