§ SIR W. J. COLLINS (St. Pancras, W.)To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when the Charter of the University of Bristol will be laid, and when it can become operative.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) The draft Charter was laid before Parliament last Tuesday. As regards the latter part of the Question I can only say that the Charter must lie upon the Table for thirty days before it can be submitted to His Majesty.
