CAPTAIN CRAIGI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can give particulars of dissatisfaction among local evicted tenants in cases where the Estates Commissioners have allocated farms to transplanted evicted tenants; how many such instances have occurred; and whether he will take steps to secure that persons nominated by the United Irish League shall not receive preferential treatment in being reinstated.
