Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether his attention has been drawn to the tact that out of ninety-two samples of milk sampled by the officials of the London County Council last week, 23.9 per cent. were found to be tuberculous; and what steps, if any, the Government propose to take to deal with the disease.
§ SIR EDWARD STRACHEYThe Board have seen a copy of the Report of the public health committee of the London County Council to which my hon. friend is perhaps referring. It would appear that the samples examined were taken at various times during the last quarter. The Board are carefully considering whether they can take any action to deal with the matter.
