§ MR. SUMMERBELLI beg to ask the Prime Minister if he can state whether the North Eastern Agricultural Federation have forwarded a resolution to the effect that, in the interests of the public, the use of malt and hop substitutes in the making of beer should be prohibited; and, if so, what action, if any, it is proposed to take in regard to the matter.
§ MR. ASQUITHI understand that my right hon. friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer will shortly introduce a Bill to prohibit the use of hop substitutes in the manufacture of beer.
