§ CAPTAIN CLIVEI beg to ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether he will consider the possibility of depositing in the public library or some other convenient place in each county town the sheets of the 25-inch Ordnance survey of that county, so that applicants for small holdings may be referred to the numbers on the map of the fields that are offered to them, and the necessity of drawing plans in every case be avoided.
§ SIR EDWARD STRACHEYThe cost of one complete set of the 25-inch maps of England and Wales is over £6,000, and it would not, therefore, be practicable to adopt the suggestion made.
