§ MR. HENRY (Shropshire, Wellington)I beg to ask the Prime Minister if he will consider taking the necessary steps, by a resolution or otherwise, for providing that Bills that may have passed the Committee, and of which the subsequent stages are unable to be 1070 proceeded with during the present session, that the Report and Third Reading may be taken in the following session without having again to pass the First and Second Readings and be dealt with in Committee.
§ MR. ASQUITHThis is a matter as to which great difference of opinion exists among persons of authority and experience, and I cannot as at present advised give my hon. friend the assurance for which he asks.
