HC Deb 16 November 1908 vol 196 c852
MR. SEAVERNS (Lambeth, Brixton)

To ask the President of the Board of Trade when the decisions of the International Copyright Conference are likely to be arrived at, and whether he will cause them to be communicated to the House; and whether any of the decisions can be put into effect until they have been submitted to and sanctioned by Parliament.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) The final sitting of the Conference took place on Saturday last and His Majesty's Government are awaiting the Report of the British delegates. The Report will be published in due course. As regards the method of giving effect in this country to any alteration of the Convention, I must refer my hon. friend to the reply given to-day to the hon. Member for North Salford.
