§ MR. MACKARNESS (Berkshire, Newbury)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can state the total aggregate amounts voted during the last ton years, 1897 to 1907, for the Naval Estimates of France, Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom, respectively.
§ MR. MCKENNAI think my hon. friend will find all the information he requires in the Return, of which I have sent him a copy, moved for by my hon. friend the Member for Leicester.
§ MR. MACKARNESSBut in view of the great public interest in naval expenditure outside this House cannot the right hon. Gentleman give the figures in the form of an Answer to a Question?
§ MR. MCKENNAIt would be difficult to read them out.
§ MR. BELLAIRSAnd when they are circulated will the right hon. Gentleman also circulate the appendix showing the large deductions made from the British figures and which are not included in the Russian and Gorman estimates?
§ MR. MCKENNAI will consider that point.
