§ SIR CARNE RASCH (Essex, Chelmsford)To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will consider the advisability of extending the benefits of the Old-Age Pensions Act to naval and military pensioners resident in the Channel Islands, considering that a great part of their lives has been spent in the service of this country.
(Answered by Mr. Lloyd-George.) I will bear the case in mind; but I fear it would be difficult to draw a distinction between the Channel Islands and other parts of the British Dominions whose financial arrangements are separate from those of the United Kingdom.
