MR. HOWARD (Cumberland, Eskdale)I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor the Exchequer if he can state what proportion of the £40,000 promised to the county councils for the expenses of collecting establishment licences will be payable to the county of Cumberland.
§ MR. LLOYD-GEORGEIt is estimated that £350 will be payable to the Cumberland County Council in respect of the surrendered licences.
