Member for the Andover Division of Hampshire, I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if he will state whether the unemployed Special Reservist will receive 7s. per week clear, while the ordinary Special Reservist can only receive 4s. 11½d. clear of stoppages.
§ MR. HALDANEThe hon. and gallant Member is under a misapprehension. There is no such person as an unemployed Special Reservist. All Special Reservists draw pay alike according to the branch of service to which they belong and the rank they hold therein.
