To ask the First Lord of the Admiralty how many men in excess of 30,500 voted this financial year are to be employed in the home dockyards as the result of the Government's effort to relieve unemployment.

(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) The number of men who will receive employment in the dockyards as the result of the special effort made to relieve unemployment is estimated at about 2,100. Their employment is to last until 31st March, 1909.
