HC Deb 09 November 1908 vol 195 c1676
MR. DELANY

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state what steps, if any, have been taken by the Estates Commissioners to provide Mrs. Delany, now of 49, Marlborough Road, Donny-brook, Dublin, the representative of the late John Delany, who was evicted in 1884 from a farm of 111 acres Irish, on the estate of the late John George Adair, situated at Roskeen, Queen's County, with a suitable holding, as the evicted farm is in possession of a planter, the estate being now owned by Lord Digby, who has lately sold to the tenants.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) Mrs. Delany's application has been noted by the Estates Commissioners for consideration in connection with the allotment of untenanted land.
