§ MR. O'DOWD (Sligo, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether work-mistresses in national schools of two years good service are debarred from any share of the grant of £114,000 recently allocated; and, if so, whether, seeing that those are the lowest-paid teachers in the service, having salaries ranging from £12 to £14 per annum only, he will see that they get something from this now grant.
