HC Deb 04 November 1908 vol 195 c1233
MR. LONSDALE (Armagh, Mid)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what has been the result of the consideration given to the recent speech of the hon. Member for North Longford in advocacy of cattle-driving.

MR. BIRRELL

After careful consideration, it has been decided that the language used by the hon. Member for North Longford on the occasion referred to was not such as to justify proceedings for incitement to commit crime.
