REES (Montgomery Boroughs)I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that Mahomedan British-Indian subjects returning from the Haj complain that they do not receive adequate protection and assistance from the British Vice-Consul at Jeddah; and, if the Answer be in the affirmative, whether he will make inquiries in view to the comfort and convenience of British-Indian subjects in the Hedjaz.
