§ MR. HUNT (Shropshire, Ludlow)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he will consider the desirability of issuing a circular to local authorities advising them to imitate the policy of the London County Council by buying only articles made by British labour.
§ MR. JOHN BURNSThis is a matter which must, I think, be left to the local authorities. I could not undertake to issue a circular of the kind suggested.
