HC Deb 02 November 1908 vol 195 c776
MR. MCARTHUR (Liverpool, Kirkdale)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what opportunity will be afforded for the consideration of Amendments needful to adapt the provisions of the Licensing Bill to the special requirements of passenger vessels, seeing there is no possibility of any time being available in the Committee stage for the discussion of Clause 34 or Schedule V.

THE UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL,) Yorkshire, Cleveland

My right hon. friend is considering the Amendments to Clause 34 and Schedule V. of the Licensing Bill, which have appeared on the Paper, with a view to deciding how far Government Amendments can be put down to meet the points raised therein.
