HC Deb 28 May 1908 vol 189 c1278
CAPTAIN CRAIG (Down, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that on Thursday the 14th May last a cattle-drive took place off three farms belonging to small tenants on the Gregory Cowle Estate, two miles from Gort, County Galway: how many arrests were made: and what sentences were passed on the perpetrators of the outrage.

MR. BIRRELL

The facts are as stated in the Question. Twenty persons were arrested and bound to keep the peace.
