§ THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. CHERRY,) Liverpool, ExchangeThe additional auditor appointed in 1907 is Mr. R. J. Baker, who is described in this year's Estimates as "Junior Auditor (Temporary)." This temporary office was created in order to meet arrears of work. Mr. Baker, who was selected by the Local Government Board for the post, was one of the Board's audit clerks on the permanent staff of the office. He is an associate of the Corporation of Accountants.
