I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he can give the figures, in values and in quantities, of the imports of British silks and kindred manufactures into the Dominion of Canada yearly since 1897.

I will have a statement of the total value of British silk manufactures imported into Canada printed in the Votes. No information as to total quantities is available.
