HC Deb 21 May 1908 vol 189 c514
MR. JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that letters coming by the second mail from Dublin to Shillelagh are detained in Rathdrum from 8 am. until the following morning; that the Dublin papers are not delivered in Ballinglen until the day after publication, although delivered at the other stations on the Shillelagh line; can he explain why the Ballinglen district is so inconvenienced by the present arrangements; and will he see that in future letters and papers are dropped at Ballinglen by the train which drops the mails at Aughrim and other stations on the same line.

MR. SYDNEY BUXTON

I have called for a report on this subject, and when I have received the necessary information I will send the hon. Member a reply.
