HC Deb 21 May 1908 vol 189 c496
MR. G. GOOCH (Bath)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will advise the Egyptian Government to make regulations with regard to the employment of children and young persons in factories and workshops in all cases in which such action is not prevented by the Capitulations.

SIR EDWARD GREY

This question is already occupying the serious attention of the Egyptian Government, with a view to the adoption of remedial measures when practicable.
