HC Deb 21 May 1908 vol 189 c499
EARL OF KERRY (Derbyshire, W.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of his admission of the serious dangers of cinematograph exhibitions, and of his statement to the deputation from the London County Council on 28th February last, that he considered it most desirable these unlicensed exhibitions should be put under proper authority, he can see his way shortly to introduce legislation with this object.

MR. GLADSTONE

I have not lost sight of this matter, but I am not in a position to say whether legislation can be introduced in the present session.
