MR. FIELD

To ask the Secretary of State for War if arrangements could be made to allow the employees of the Army Ordnance Department in Dublin a holiday on 17th March in common with all Government employees in Dublin.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) St. Patrick's Day is allowed to the Army Ordnance Department employees in Ireland as a public holiday on the same conditions as for Admiralty employees, namely, without pay and without the right of making up lost time.
