HC Deb 20 May 1908 vol 189 c264
MR. R. BALFOUR (Lanarkshire, Partick)

To ask the Postmaster-General if he can now arrange to have the Hill-head and Kelvinside districts of Glasgow placed on an equal footing with the city proper, with respect to having the Continental, English, and North of Scotland correspondence arriving in Glasgow after 6.15 p.m. o'clock, included in the 7.30 p.m. delivery; and, if so, when such arrangements may be expected to be carried into effect.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I am glad to be able to tell my hon. friend that this matter has now been satisfactorily settled, and that arrangements will be made without delay for affording the improvement of service to which he refers.
