VINCENT KENNEDYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state whether the Estates Commissioners have yet made the formal proposal to purchase the Crookendon and Casey Estate, County Cavan, and whether the same has been accepted; and, if not, will he say what is exactly the present position of this estate.
§ MR. BIRRELLA formal proposal for the purchase by the Estates Commissioners of the estate in question is in 300 course of preparation, and the Commissioners hope to issue it at an early date.
