HC Deb 15 May 1908 vol 188 cc1437-8
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Cork County, N.E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can state whether the Estates Commissioners are taking steps to effect the reinstatement of David Riordan in his former holding on the Sherlock estate, Araglen, County Cork; and what is the present position of the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) Before considering the necessity of applying the provisions of The Evicted Tenants Act, 1907, in this case, the Estates Commissioners are about to ask the owner to allow an inspection of the holding with a view to their estimating a price to be offered for it.
