HC Deb 14 May 1908 vol 188 c1350
MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is now in a position to state what arrangements have been made for the reinstatement of evicted tenants on the Maybery estate, near Kenmare, County Kerry.

MR. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners have received eight applications for reinstatement on this estate. In five cases the Commissioners have made offers to purchase, but have not yet received replies from the owner. In one case, in which the holding is occupied by a tenant, the Commissioners will provide the applicant with a holding elsewhere if one can be found for him. In the two remaining cases the Commissioners have decided to take no action.
