§ MR. ESSLEMONT (Aberdeen, S.)To ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he can state the number of foreign fishing vessels which have been observed trawling in the Moray Firth during the year 1907, what proportion of these vessels discharged at Grimsby, the quantity of fish landed, and the total sum realised.
(Answered by Mr. Sinclair.) Twenty-five foreign vessels were observed on 201 occasions, nineteen of which landed fish at Grimsby, the total quantity recorded by the Fishery Board as being landed amounting to 10,525 cwts. The Fishery Board have no record of the sum realised.
