HC Deb 14 May 1908 vol 188 c1339
MR. COURTHOPE

I beg to ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, what steps have been taken to establish experimental small holdings and how the sum provided by the Act of 1907 for that purpose has been expended.

SIR EDWARD STRACHEY

In view of the activity of county councils, the Board have not considered it necessary as yet to take any steps to establish experimental small holdings, and it has not, therefore, been necessary to draw on the Small Holdings Account for this purpose.
